This post is actually a brief revised edition of lost post (post 4 and 4a)  ,

Hopefully I can continue this tutorial series on basic blog building at faster pace, because there are so many exciting things about blogging that we should discuss. Monetizing blog is the ”final” part  and the easiest part!,  but what excite me most is building a blog itself , there are a lot of topics. After hosting topics, we can proceed to building more advanced blog (there are video blog …. this one cool!) and also so many tips and tricks from all resources that I gather, contents, distributing contents, multimedia aspects in a blog.

Later on we can enhance our blog by tweaking here and there, inserting some java scripts or widgets to do a lot of things! actually, you can look at this blog here http://www.smartmoneymakingwebsite.com as our sparring partner in blogging, because you literally can see it form bit by bit. from scratch up to proper monetizing. I hope i can reveal all resources and tools that I use.

But let’s do it one at a time,

Continuing from where we left off,

In Previous post, we talked about keywords research, … so what is the purpose of doing that?, …. The main purpose is to find yourself a Niche (American spell it “Neetch”, while Canadian spell it “Neesh”, choose wich one you like, nobody will really care ).

From keywords research, some of your Niche characteristics  are revealed, we got data on supply and demand of that niche, and some other useful data (competition, average search etc.)

From Niche, and keywords, we then proceed to the domain name that we will be using.

As we all aware that what we are talking about up until now, is making a blog that have almost very specific topics (niche, that is), so in the future, we will fill our blog with relevant contents, therefore the domainname should inline with blog topics and keywords, so, the human and the search engine as well, will be much easier to find our blogs.

Assuming you done your keywords research/niche finding properly, to get/buy a domain name (price range 8 to 15 bucks per year), is pretty simple process. You just have to make a very small research (if we can call it research ), let’s take one example (because there are a lot similar way at the internet).

One of the simplest way to do is go to http://www.makewords.com , here’s what you will firstly get :

From here, it’s very easy to buy domain because makewords will also give suggestions on domain name to be use, in case that our words/phrases that we want to be our domain name was already taken by someone else. I’s very easy indeed, but I will explain in more detail on next post.

So what’s topics on the next post?  well, it will be the continuation of this post and then all about hosting services, Free and Paid Services, where can you get decent free hosting, and then about using some tools (like using fantastico to install wordpress) etc ……. well some sort of that, we’ll see how it goes.
