Let’s Continue our task on making a profitable blog.

I’ve just downloaded several themes, and I use it on our demo tutorial, check it out at http://www.smartmoneymakingwebsite.com/demotutorial , the themes looks gorgeous right? and it’s free!

I have deleted the “Hello World” Post, and I made first post for this blog, take a look.

Please notice that this themes is already place spaces for google adsense (we will talk a bit more on this subject) at the upper and lower side of the side bar, all I have to do is to replace google adsense number with mine. Look at the picture below :

How to replace the google adsense code with our google adsense code? assume that you have applied to google adsense and the application is OK, then google will send to us our google adsense code, usually like this : pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (xxxxx is spesific numbers that google give us as our google adsense ID).

So, to replace the google adsense code with mine, from the dashboard, I will clicked design and then theme editor then sidebar, and then locate the location of the google adsense code. After you found it, replace with your own google adsense code.

To make it clearer, I attached picture showing how to do it :

After that go ahead clicked theme editor and sidebar, like I show it below :

Now it’s clear how to do it right?

OK, we have been entering our new subject (monetizing), I will discuss a bit further about this subject later on.

Meanwhile, google adsense will only post ads that is relevant to our blog contents that’s why its called “contextual ads”. If your blog’s contents are about laptop, google ads most likely will consist of ads about computers, laptops, gadgets ….. , If your blog is about travel, then google ads most likely will consist of hotel ads, airline tickets, holliday tour etc…..

So, I suggest that you submit your application to google adsense, after you have active blog with some post already in place. Don’t worry, we will discuss more about this on my next post on our series of making a profitable blog to achieve income from the internet via profitable blog
